In the words of

my Hubs ... "this storm was a dud" ...  We had snow in the front yard on the pavers but not in the back.  Go figure.  We didn't get the 2-4 inches of snow anticipated.  We drew the warm air from the ocean in and got a wet, heavy, melty type snow.  Then ... the temperatures dropped and turned all of the 'wetness,' as Hubs called, it into ice.  A skating rink.  I can't imagine how many people are falling on their bums today thinking they're on a wet pavement when it is really black ice.

Wonder what the forecasters have in mind for us next week?   They've got "snow" on the forecast for Tuesday.  And, "snow showers" for Wednesday.  Any betting peeps out there?   I've got my hopes on a foot of the powdery white stuff - although they haven't given us any clues other than "snow".  See what I mean?  A vague forecast for Tuesday, an incorrect forecast for today ... I covet the jobs of the meterologists.
