Class trip with Pre-School to the Philly Zoo on Friday. Yippee!! Pulling the older kids out of school for the day to hang out with their lil' sister. It should be a fun day and the weather looks AWESOME for the trip.
That oil spill pisses me off too! Damnit! I am not an Obama fan, but last night they had that interview with him and he laid it out there. He wants to get information to get their asses. My husband had to replay it because I couldn't believe it. I am tired of sitting by and watching the destruction of beaches, lives and the welfare of animals. It is so sad.
Oh, man. Don't get me started on the oil spill! My husband and I both get so fired up about it...
I just wanted to say thanks for visiting and being a follower of my blog. I especially appreciate the comments! Keep them coming! I hope you enjoy the rest of the 80's week that I have in store. I can't wait to hear about your own favorites. :)
The really sad thing is there were safety measures in place. Several someones chose to ignore them. These individuals with decision making power need to be held criminally liable.
I had too much sun yesterday...just no beers :) I feel you on the oil spill...in fact my vacation to Gulf Shores is no longer :( BUT I do support drilling. Just have to get safety and emergency stuff straight first!!!
LOVE ur NOTES!!!!!! and damn straight about the oil spill...... who thought "let's drill a mile into the ocean floor but never PONDER what we might do if something happens.." I mean REALLY?!!!!!!
The oil spill is really tickin me off too! We had a trip to Sanibel FL planned long before and I am hoping it is cleaned up before we go...probably not though!
In response to your question about why there weren't safety measures in place, it is because they were cutting corners and trying to save money. A lot of good it did them, hey? I am so angry with this company I cannot even begin to tell you. My husband works in the oil and gas industry and has done completions on wells for this company and is embarrassed to say so now. Hope you have a great week. I enjoyed reading your blog.
